Marine Drive is a spot that is close to hearts of Mumbaikars because it is here where many romance blossoms, memories are created and good time is enjoyed on special days. It is the most easily recognizable landmark related to city and is a reflection of city's glamor and glitter. It is essentially 3.6 km long, curved boulevard along the South Mumbai coastline which begins at the Nariman Point and ends at Girgaum Chowpatty.  In the morning, joggers like to jog and exercise here and in the evening, when the entire area is lighted up, it earns its other name i.e. Queen's Necklace.

The Gateway of India is hands down the most visited tourist spot of Mumbai. Located on the Apollo Bunder, it faces the Arabian Sea. It is one of the city's historically significant monuments and was constructed in the year 1924. The monument was designed by the renowned architect George Wittet, to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai. The magnificent structure of the monument is an exquisite blend of Indian, Arabic and Western style of architecture and is now a favorite tourist destination in the city. It also marks the beginning of ferry services that navigate their way to the Elephanta Caves.

One of the most vibrant and happening areas to explore in Mumbai city is the Colaba Causeway. It is renowned for being a paradise for shoppers since it accommodates several small street shops selling various things ranging from fashionable clothes, gadgets to antique home decor items at an affordable price. Sanjay Gandhi National Park is perfect for picnics and weekend holidays providing a relief from the hubbub of the city. It is called most beloved national park, as hundreds of visitors come here daily to see wild animals like Leopards, Macaques, Boars, Lions, Flying fox, Kingfisher, Sunbirds and various types of butterflies here. Over two thousand years old, Kanheri caves are also a major tourist destination within the park boundaries. Spanning nearly 20% of Mumbai's geographical area the park is also reported to be the world's largest park within metropolitan city boundaries.

It's hard to believe that one of the most tranquil places can be found right in the midst of the bustling suburbs of Mumbai. The peacefully hypnotic Pagoda sits on a peninsula between Gorai creek and the Arabian Sea. The soothing views of gardens around the main building enhances the value of the visit.
