The group arrives in Bodh Gaya and is welcomed by our tour coordinators. After checking in at the hotel, students attend an orientation session that provides historical context on the life of Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) and the significance of Bodh Gaya in global religious history. In the evening, the group visits the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where students witness pilgrims from around the world and reflect on the universal values of peace and compassion. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, students begin their day with a guided meditation session led by a local monk or practitioner, introducing them to the basics of mindfulness and Buddhist thought. The group then visits the Bodhi Tree, under which the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. The tour continues with visits to international monasteries built by countries like Thailand, Japan, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, showcasing architectural styles and cultural practices from around the Buddhist world. In the evening, group activities and reflections deepen understanding of diversity and spiritual learning. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.

The day starts with a visit to Sujata Kuti, where students learn about the story of Sujata’s offering and the Middle Path philosophy. Afterward, they visit Dungeshwari Cave, believed to be the site where Buddha meditated before enlightenment. Post-lunch, students explore the Bodh Gaya Museum, which houses Buddhist relics and ancient artifacts. The evening includes a group discussion on the impact of Buddhism on world history, ethics, and education. The day ends with a cultural evening or short documentary screening, followed by dinner and rest.

Following breakfast, students check out and proceed to the railway station or airport. A closing circle is held for students to share their insights and experiences from the tour. They leave with a deeper understanding of Buddhism, global cultures, and the value of inner reflection and compassion in personal growth.
