Afterward, you will enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant before being transferred to your hotel. Once you check in and settle into your room, you will have free time to explore and enjoy the windy capital at your own pace. In the evening, you will have dinner at an Indian restaurant. Later, you will visit Highland Park, where you can take in a breathtaking panoramic view of Baku. From there, you will see landmarks such as the Milli Majlis and the iconic Flame Towers. To enhance your experience, a one-way funicular ride, either up or down, is included. You will then return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.
After breakfast, we will begin our Baku City Tour. Our first visit will be to the Heydar Aliyev Centre, a masterpiece designed by the world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid. This futuristic building is one of Baku’s most famous landmarks. Don't forget to take a photo near the popular "I Love Baku" sign! Next, we will embark on an Absheron Tour, where we will explore Azerbaijan’s fascinating natural fire phenomena. Our first stop is the Fire Temple (Ateshgah), a historical site in Surakhani village that has been attracting visitors for centuries. This 17th–18th century temple was built around naturally burning flames and was once an important pilgrimage site for fire-worshipping Hindus and Zoroastrians. Today, it serves as a well-curated museum showcasing the region's rich history. From there, we will head to Yanardag (Burning Mountain) in Mammadli village, where a 10-metre wall of fire blazes continuously, creating a surreal sight. This natural gas fire, which has been burning for centuries, was even mentioned by Marco Polo in the 13th century. The newly built museum complex here offers an insightful experience into the geological phenomenon (combo ticket is included). At 1:00 PM, we will take a lunch break at an Indian restaurant before continuing our tour. After lunch, we will visit Highland Park, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Baku. From this vantage point, you will see the Milli Majlis (National Parliament) and the iconic Flame Towers, which light up the city skyline at night. We will take a one-way funicular ride (ticket included) to explore the area further. Next, we will head to Baku Boulevard, one of the city's most scenic waterfront promenades. Here, you will find the famous Ferris Wheel, a small reproduction of Little Venice (one round-trip ticket included), and the Carpet Museum, which showcases Azerbaijan’s rich carpet-weaving heritage. Take a relaxing stroll along the Caspian Sea, enjoying the fresh breeze and picturesque views. We will then step into history as we explore Icherisheher (Old City), a UNESCO-listed ancient town. This area is home to centuries-old hamams, local mosques, the iconic Maiden Tower, and the 12th-century Shirvanshah’s Palace. Walking through its narrow cobblestone streets feels like a journey back in time. Continuing our adventure, we will walk to Nizami Street, a vibrant avenue lined with elegant historical buildings constructed by Azerbaijan’s oil barons. This street is also one of the best places for shopping, offering both modern boutiques and traditional Azerbaijani souvenirs. In the evening, we will enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Baku.
You will start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 AM, you will be picked up for a full-day excursion. Your first stop will be Gobustan Rock Art, an archaeological site that showcases ancient carvings depicting flora and fauna, hunting scenes, daily life, and cultural rituals from prehistoric and medieval times. These rock engravings, which date back 5,000 to 20,000 years, illustrate men, ritual dances, animals, bullfights, camel caravans, as well as representations of the sun and stars. Next, you will visit the Gobustan Rock Art Museum, where you will explore more about the region’s history and significance (entrance ticket included). Following this, you will witness Azerbaijan’s fascinating mud volcanoes, as the country is home to the largest number of them in the world—350 out of the total 700 existing mud volcanoes are found in Azerbaijan. Afterward, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at an Indian restaurant before heading to Ganjlik Mall or Deniz Mall for some shopping and leisure time. In the evening, you will have dinner at an Indian restaurant before being transferred to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Your pick-up from the hotel will be scheduled three hours before your departure time to ensure a smooth and timely transfer.
